Initial Consultation

I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. Schedule your free consultation to help determine clinical fit and appropriateness. This is an opportunity for us to briefly connect, discuss your needs, and decide whether working together feels like a good match.

Insurance & Out-of-Network Benefits

I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. I am happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company. If you have a PPO plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement — please contact your insurer to learn more about your out-of-network benefits.

Individual Therapy Fees and Duration

Individual therapy sessions for trauma and insomnia counseling are $225 per 55-minute session. Payment is due at the time of each appointment. I accept major credit cards, as well as HSA and FSA payment options. For trauma-focused work, there is flexibility in session length. Research suggests that intensive EMDR sessions can support more efficient progress. You are welcome to schedule sessions that align with your availability and bandwidth. If the posted appointment times do not accommodate more intensive work, please reach out—additional scheduling flexibility may be possible.

Both EMDR and CBT-I are short-term, time-limited work. Most EMDR clients experience significant relief within the first few sessions though it is not clinically possible to predict exactly how many sessions a client may need. The usual course of insomnia treatment is six to eight sessions at most.

Group Therapy Fees

Insomnia groups will be offered in the future. Join the waitlist to receive updates about upcoming groups.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Your session time is reserved exclusively for you. For this reason, 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less notice will be billed at the full session rate. When possible, appointments may be rescheduled within the same week at no cost, and this is always my goal. Rescheduling tends to be more feasible for standard one-hour sessions than for intensives, and unfortunately is not possible for group sessions. The same policy applies to me: if I need to cancel with less than 48 hours notice and we are unable to reschedule within the same week, your next session will be free.

Reduced-Fee Options

I reserve a limited number of reduced-rate spots for clients who do not have out-of-network benefits and are experiencing financial hardship. I use the Green Bottle Method to collaboratively determine an appropriate rate. Please feel free to reach out to inquire about current availability.

If you or a family member have been the victim of a violent crime, you may qualify for funding for trauma therapy through the Massachusetts Victim of Violent Crime Compensation Fund.
